Immugence hosted the “2025 Mini Scientific Forum on DNA-based Therapeutics,” marking the first event of its kind in Thailand dedicated to advancing perspectives on DNA-based healthcare and therapeutics. The forum was held on November 26, 2025.

The event featured distinguished international researchers, including Professor Jonathan Wong, a renowned pharmaceutical research expert from Canada, who shared insights into the origins and future of DNA-based therapeutic research. Also joining the forum was Professor Holland Cheng, a molecular biology specialist from the University of California, Davis, USA, who delivered a lecture on the development of DNA absorption in the gastrointestinal system.

The forum was further honored by the presence of distinguished representatives and leaders from Thailand’s healthcare and scientific sectors, including Dr. Pimphorn Cheewanan, Representative of the Minister of Higher Education, Science, Research and Innovation (MHESI) and Secretary to the Minister of Higher Education, Science, Research and Innovation; Dr. Thaneeya Roitrakul from the National Center for Genetic Engineering and Biotechnology (BIOTEC), National Science and Technology Development Agency (NSTDA); Dr. Phanuwat Panket, Deputy Permanent Secretary of the Ministry of Public Health; and Dr. Udom Asawutamangkul, Public Health Inspector of the Ministry of Public Health.

The event also welcomed numerous medical professionals and distinguished guests from across the healthcare industry to participate in this important academic discussion.
